Absolutely. As Alan said.
I own the Ukkonen since september 2024. After some improvements in Purifi amplification with the 9040 in mono blocs from Purifi. Good XLR cables for direct Hi-Fi listening (with a UD-701N TEAC) and good cables for RCA binding with the dynamic NAD T778. Same for the speaker cables. I realised the enorm potential of the Ukkonen. In every domain. Running-in is not finished.

The reason: Alan made such a good work in every frequencies from high to low. Not only the units in itself are exceptional (Purifi Ushindi 8" and SB A. as dome tweeters, the best for high frequencies) but also the inner design is responsible for this. Alan choosed the great components. Cabinet is very solid, no vibrations. Roll down is amazing. Medium is so good, trebles precise. Dynamic natural. Marvelous. You only need to read comments on Forums it is a jewel for the ears.
For movies astonishing dynamic will be present, even at high volumes. And what is pleasant: the roll down to low basses will give you a very good combination with a subwoofer, because you can push the bass on front to the Ukonnen, they absolutely don't mind. Perhaps you won't even need a subwoofer as the Ukkonen has deep and clean bass. Listen to fugue and toccata Bach you will understand what I mean. No fatigue with action films for example.
For music alone I don't use the subwoofer because the overall performance is amazing. The balance is great.
Rare to have a speaker with everything you want in movies, klassik, Jazz, pop etc.
I'm only a very pleased client...

And what is awesome with the Ukkonen is the point source with 2 speakers. Homogeneous.
I listen from near field middle field distance so as monitoring (it reveals everything) and from far field with a higher volume and no distortion. 😂 isn’t it lovely? With a wave guide tweeter as Alan said and the great purifi 8” no medium needed. Concentration on quality. Better components. For me. It is a very polyvalent speaker in every term.
https://tidal.com/browse/album/181541471?u
Yello 40’s in 24 bit and 48 KHZ. Another album that reveals the potential of the speaker. Or listen to sweet thunder
https://tidal.com/browse/track/26398344?u
With the sweet monstrous Ukkonen…
Looking forward for other ideas from Alan… 😊🧐

And another point! Listening at low volumes, with a good pre-amplifier power amplifier combination, you will even have all details. As it is also the fact at high volumes! For me the great class D Purifi Eigentakt 9040 modules, power hypex is a wonderful combination. But the Ukkonen is partnering great with everything.
To resume: I couldn’t find any critical negative point on this speaker. Everything is positive. Rare.
The marvellous natural sound is combined with dynamic and precision. Trebles are never agressive. But so precise. Bass is tight, precise, never heard pumping effects, it is so easy to follow the bass-lines. Medium is so beautiful. Every type of music is going through the speaker. It’s ridiculous to say that a speaker is made for jazz or opera etc. I will never buy a speaker for only one type of music. Alan prouved it. Everything is top. Breath is in there… this shows also the crossover and binding post quality.
And all this precision is also combined with a great soundstage. Fair price…nice finish’s.
And this quality is recognised by all the people I’m talking with, owner of March Audio speakers. Alan has a great publicity all over the world made by very satisfied customers. Purifi also deserves an applause in this quality approach.
Chapeau Monsieur March. Vous êtes la Rolls du son...raisonnable.

I have to calm down. I’m too enthusiast. 😂😂😊 but the speaker deserves this.
I hope we will see Alan in Vienna, perhaps.
