Great sounding recordings! So, why don't you post demo recordings of your floor and bookshelf speakers using this cellphone to highlight their bass capabilities, dynamic range, vocal accuracy etc.? The one demo I heard did not emphasize the bass but vocals only. It was some audio show in Australia demoing your equipment.

I did not think that cellphones and iPads did bass very well?

Basically, recordings made in rooms at hifi shows sound awful. I am a little bemused why people do so, as they sound nothing like the "in person" experience.
Microphones dont hear like 2 ears and a brain. They cant process the sound as our brains do, reducing the prominence of the reflections in the room.
Now, the recordings I made in Helsinki were in the open air, so very little in the way of reflections and predominantly the direct sound. It was still amplified though, so the PA speakers will colour the sound, but much better than in a room.
When recording real instruments in a room you need to make a judicious choice regarding mic directivity and distance (usually close) to balanced the direct / room sound.

Ok...is the room you use to measure your loudspeakers good enough to double as a well treated demo room? Then you can make HQ recordings that way, free of the compromises you've mentioned that typical show rooms have.

Some do and some don't. But the ones used in to make the video did an excellent job of capturing the double bass notes!

We dont actually measure speakers in a room. Without a Klippel machine you cant accurately remove the effects of the room.
For primary development we measure outdoors, about 8m off the ground to minimise low frequency reflections. Followed by Klippel testing for final pass.
Have to say Im not sure I see the value of recording the speakers. You will never hear what the speakers actually sound like; what you will hear is the sound of the speakers the recording is being replayed on and the evironment thise speakers are in.

I understand these limitations, but having no other way to hear your speakers unless you are local is the next best thing.
