So Trump is being fed filtered, cherry picked information on the economy which is why he keeps saying prices are down and inflation is down. So you could argue he is not deliberately lying.
Problem is that he is such a dumb uninformed MF that he can't tell the information is BS.

Seeing the video below, it makes me wonder if Trump is lying about the reality that tariffs are a tax being paid by Americans.
It appears that he really just doesn't understand how they work. Can he really be that stupid? Is he really that stupid that he just accepts the lies of his economic advisors?
