OK - I wasn’t sure that there was much of a public health system in the US.
In his first term DJT did get the vaccines pushed through in record time.
Oddly his base has the lion’s share of the anti-vaxxers.
The CDC went a bid downhill under Biden, and with the mandated “Kids need the vaccine” despite there is be no/little medical efficacy for that. And they suffered a loss of reputation and being politics free.

IMO - The tariffs and USAID may be more solid ground to base the displeasure on than medical and what happens in DC with the national guard.

You dont think that the federal government sending in troops to cities (uninvited by the state) is not something to be concerned about in a democratic nation? "Squeal". That indicates you think concerns about the rise of fascism and autocracy is something trivial. Perhaps when visiting WWII sites in Europe you would take time to look at the memorials and graves of all those that died protecting freedom against fascism.

It may appear crass on first inspection to say it, but its not. The parallels between the Nazi rise to power and what Trump is doing is frightening. The events and actions are almost identical. Trumps used it as an instruction manual.

It did have some items that are explicitly against rights enshrined in the constitution. So these policies were lies that he had no power to implement - unless of course he fully intended to defy the constitution.

Its disingenuous to suggest there is. This isn't about differing politics and views in a democratic society. Despite their political views neither of them have the intention to destroy Australian democracy and become dictators.
